Hyper Space Man
A downloadable game for macOS and Linux
Run out of space by going faster than the speed of light
Hold the right mouse button to fire your thrusters and accelerate towards your cursor
Use the left mouse button to shoot
Hold the space bar to mine when over a planet or star, but beware of the enemies that spawn from planets and bosses that may spawn from star
Use the escape button to pause the game and upgrade your ship
Balance your fuel, health, mining and damage to make it out before the heat death of the universe
Tip: Stars take a while to mine, don't mine the starting star. Try to invest minerals into mining speed early on.

Really great game, it's not just a simple space shooter, you also get some economy and exploration aspects in it - and also a simple story. The controls and in general flying in the space feel good and the enemies are challenging, but not too hard, you just need to move and dodge the bullets.
